SURVIVOR (2013)




Survivor is a contemporary music theatre piece , including comical and melodramatic parts
inspired by Benjamin Britten’s operatic musical piece entitled
" Church Parable Curlew River " in 1964 , John Cage's graphic notations and Arnold Schönberg’s techniques.

The music theatre piece " Survivor " tells the story of an ordinary girl having an extraordinary journey , embracing life and its broken feelings that is trying to recover. Courage was the remaining piece of her survival.

The story is based on true facts. However, some highlighting points i singled out such as the echoes of " Survive ", the monologues and the joyful melodies of Waltz were outlined the affirmative side of life. The emotional transformations of the character comprised the cause of my inspiration . All theatrical elements are articulated with gestures into graphic notations in order to convey realism and emotional approach.
